Could Delirium Happen To ME? OR Someone I LOVE?

Image
Has my husband gone crazy? He keeps telling me he had lunch with his mother, but she passed away 10 years ago. One minute, he is talking to me, and the next moment, he is sound asleep. He came into the hospital for a hip replacement, and now I feel like I am talking to a completely different person.  In today's world, this is more likely a future possibility than not…the time will come when, just like my parents had to adjust to bringing me home as a newborn, I will have to adjust to bringing them home as an elderly member of my family. It will be a huge change to add another member to our household. My son will have to share a bathroom that he has always had to himself. Our dinner routines will likely become more scheduled than they have been before. The shows we watch on TV at different times will likely change so that everyone has a chance to enjoy this...

We go through changes that affect the way we look, the way we think, and, at times, the way we behave. No one wants to wake up in the morning and see more fine lines. Or perhaps wake up, look in the mirror, and where we once saw those fine lines, we can no longer see them because everything is a little harder to see nowadays. Maybe you are starting to forget little things, like where you sat the mail when you brought it in or if you turned off the coffee pot this morning. Change can be hard. It creates a sense of loss that sometimes is hard to handle. How do we deal with it? Is there any hope? Well…if you take a moment and look at the world of advertising…you might think there is nothing but hope…or you might feel completely overwhelmed by all the options. There are so many products and services available, all claiming t...
